 Gwendolyn Hallsmith, Montpelier’s Director of Community Development will talk about setting up a time bank called the Onion River Exchange.
Time banking is a kind of barter exchange, but instead of denominating the exchange in dollars, the Community Credits are in hours, valuing everyone's time at the same amount irrespective of the normal value of the services or product provided.
