Resisting Cruel & Inhumane Attacks on Healthcare

Emily Marie AhtĂșnan, Mari Cordes, and others, as people with disabilities, health care providers, and people who passionately believe in human rights talk about why they're protesting, willing to go to jail, in some cases putting their lives on the line, to save health care and the moral/ethical compass of this troubled nation. Hundreds of people, including people with disabilities, faith leaders, physicians, and ordinary citizens have come together to march on the Senate and commit civil disobedience in order to resist the brutal GOP healthcare bills. Beyond the immediate need to save Medicaid funding and the ACA, they are building a movement for universal, publicly and equitably financed, high-quality health care for all.
